Unwired Labs Location API locates any IoT device worldwide using Cell Towers, WiFi & IP Address.

This app collects GPS locations of GSM/UMTS/LTE/CDMA cell towers and sends them to OpenCellID.org database. It is designed to help map the extent of mobile phone network coverage. It is also possible to collect measurements for private purposes and export them to CSV or GPX files.

Radiocells.org is a community project to collect informations on cell tower and wifi base stations and bring them on a map.The project itself was founded in 2009, then under the name openbmap.org.

The GSM Security Map at gsmmap.org compares the protection capabilities of mobile networks. This app collects data and adds it to GSM Map.This application currently only works on Android 4.1.2 Samsung S2 and S3 devices and requires root priviliges during the mobile network data capture.
