CalSPEED!

CalSPEED, released by the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC), empowers end-users with a professional-level, industry-standard testing tool to measure the quality and speed of their mobile data connection. This latest version combines the speed test function with a provider lookup tool so users can find broadband providers at a point on a map. Results are uploaded to a public repository at the CPUC and plotted on the California Interactive Broadband Map (www.broadbandmap.ca.gov/map) to provide you with the ability to compare broadband coverage at your location with other areas in California.
