The GeoGarden at the University of Worcester represents 700 million years of Earth History. The rocks of the garden tell a fascinating story of continental collisions, shallow tropical seas, coastal lagoons and sub-tropical swamps, hot deserts, vast ice sheets and polar deserts. The app has also been produced to support the outdoor learning space of the GeoGarden, which provides a practical approach to understanding geological heritage and to developing skills in rock, fossil and mineral identification.
