CUETools is a suite of tools for converting and verifying lossless CD rips. It can split lossless images into tracks, re-verify a rip against AccurateRip database, repair errors and convert between FLAC/WavPack/APE/TTA/ALAC.

X Lossless Decoder (XLD) is a tool for Mac OS X that is able to decode/convert/play various 'lossless' audio files. The supported audio files can be split into some tracks with cue sheet when decoding. It works on Mac OS X 10.3 and later. Supports: (Ogg) FLAC (.flac/.ogg), Monkey's Audio (.ape), Wavpack (.wv), TTA (.tta), Apple Lossless (.m4a) [10.4 and later], AIFF, WAV, etc

If you want to split an album, you can select split points and filenames manually or you can get them automatically from CDDB (internet or a local file) or from .cue files. Supports also automatic silence split, that can be used also to adjust cddb/cue splitpoints. Trimming using silence detection is also available.
