Founder of New World, Jeremy Blum taught himself several disciplines of software and game development at a young age. The first time he ever brought a game concept from idea to reality was with Red Orchestra, where he led a team of international mod developers to a successful release and subsequent awards including first place in Epic Games' Make Something Unreal contest. Only sixteen at the time, Jeremy was not ready to dive into the commercial game industry and signed away his work and intellectual property to Tripwire Interactive. He then went on to continue making mods, co-founding Insurgency in 2004. Three years later Insurgency was released.
