MultiPar does archival-grade file verification and repair to protect files from all forms of loss or corruption. Backups alone are not enough because data will gradually "rot" without MultiPar. Data loss can be caused by errors in backup copying, deletion, software bugs, hardware errors, viruses, tampering, etc. MultiPar can restore data even if some files are completely erased.

Dvdisaster stores data on your CD/DVD/BD including additional error correction data to protect against data loss due to disk surface degradation (read errors). This makes optical disks safer for long-term storage since it allows for data recovery even after some read errors occur.

DataHealthCheck is a portable app to check your files for corruption or display their md5/sha1 hash. It is faster than other apps because it checks for corrupted files and update hashes of changed files in one pass.

Par-N-Rar is a graphical utility which accepts a directory as input and will repair/verify any PAR/PAR2/SFV/MD5 files in that directory. Once it verifies a set of files, it will attempt to unRAR them. Once it finishes unRARing a RAR archive, it will (optionally) remove the original PAR/RAR files.
