Hiren's BootCD (HBCD) is a completely free bootable CD that contains a load of useful tools you can make use of in a variety of situations like analyzing, recovering and fixing your computer even if the primary operating system can not be booted.

Hiren's Boot Disk was great for the Windows XP, Vista, and 7 era of computing. Unfortunately it was discontinued in 2012, with FalconFour's Ultimate Boot CD following it's demise in 2013. So I took on the honor of bringing forth an up-to-date boot disk for everyone. MediCat USB aims to replace the discontinued and dated Hiren's Boot Disk. It is geared towards modern hardware, and follows the Ubuntu release cycle with a newly-updated release every 6 months.

Knoppix is an operating system based on Debian designed to be run directly from a CD / DVD (Live CD) or a USB key (Live USB), one of the first of its kind for any operating system. When starting a program, it is loaded from the removable medium and decompressed into a RAM drive. The decompression is transparent and on-the-fly.Although Knoppix is primarily designed to be used as a Live CD, it can also be installed on a hard disk like a typical operating system. MobaLiveCD is a freeware that will run your Linux LiveCD on Windows thanks to the excellent emulator called "Qemu".MobaLiveCD allows you to test your LiveCD with a single click : after downloading the ISO image file of your favorite LiveCD, you just have to start it in MobaLiveCD and here you are, without the need to burn a CD-Rom or to reboot your computer.

PartitionGuru is a partition management and data recovery program. In addition to traditional MBR partition table, it supports GUID partition table on GPT disks also. The free version is not able to convert a dynamic disk to a basic disk.
