Lite-C is a programming language for multimedia applications and personal computer games, using a syntax subset of the C language with some elements of the C++ language. Its main difference to C is the native implementation of multimedia and computer game related objects like sounds, images, movies, GUI elements, 2D and 3D models, collision detection and rigid body physics. AresEd is a high-level and fully featured 3D game creation suite. It is Free and Open Source. When it is finished you will be able to make full 3D games without writing any code (although a fallback to the python scripting language will be provided). AresEd is based on the Crystal Space 3D engine and on Crystal Entity Layer for game logic. It is also based on WX for the user interface and Bullet for physics. The editor is fully physics based and shows a realtime preview of the game world.

We wanted to create a new role playing game which would offer multi-player experiences and runs within the browser and we didn't found something which fit our needs we started to build it up ourselves and decided to open it up to others as well. Therefore the engine has been created from a collaboration of a dedicated developer and an expert game artist, mixing the knowledge about computer science and the visuals. We offers also an active team which can support you through all your journey in case you would ever need more help.
