FileBox enhances Windows by adding several advanced functions to the standard Open File and Save File dialog boxes. (Note that if a program uses its own "private" dialog boxes for these functions, you wont see our FileBox buttons, sorry.)

FlashFolder is an open source tool that extends the file-related common dialogs (e.g. open/save dialog) seen in most Windows applications. A small toolbar docks onto these dialogs that provides menus for quick access to recently-used folders, favorite folders and more.

The StExBar provides many useful commands for your everyday use of Windows explorer. And you can add as many custom commands on your own as you like.. The commands are not just available from the toolbar, but also via hotkeys and via a context menu!

Access your folders from anywhereJust double click on an empty area located on the Desktop, Explorer or File Open/Save dialog box to bring up a menu. Select a favorite or recent folder from this menu and the file dialog immediately jumps to that folder. If you activate this menu from the desktop or tray icon, this folder will be opened in Windows Explorer.Now you can jump to any deeply nested folder in just a single mouse click! It also automatically resizes every standard file dialog, so that you can see a larger number of files. You will be able to find what you are looking for with a lot less scrolling. »

After quick install it will appear in context menus of Windows Explorer and Open/Save dialogs as "Folder Guide" item. With Folder Guide, you no longer need dozens of mouse clicks to navigate to your desired folder. Now reach your favorite folders in just 2 mouse clicks. Select from right click menu "Folder Guide" then click on your desired folder. Folder Guide runs automatically as part of the Windows Explorer context menu, so you will never need to start the program otherwise you want to edit the list of folders. It also works from the desktop, the Start button. »

FindeXer customize your Explorer windows locations area for quick access to your most frequently used folders. After you install FindeXer, you need to restart Explorer and then view it by going to View -> Explorer Bar and selecting FindeXer. To add new folders to the FindeXer sidebar, just drag and drop a folder to the sidebar. You can remove folders via right-click and perform other customizations.
